Buckingham Plan Project

The Society is pleased to note that it has been invited by Buckingham Town Council to be part of the Buckingham Plan project which is taking place during the summer of 2008, and has submitted a full and detailed repsonse to the Council (which can be read in this summer's Society Magazine). Members are also reminded that they are able to send in their own comments to the public consulation with a questionnaire available on the project website.

Summer 2008 Society Magazine Published

Members will be shortly receiving their new summer magazine, and as an added bonus, a complimentary copy of the new town trail launched in June.

If there was a particular article you would like to see here please let the editor know. Printed back issues are also available and can be sent to you for a small charge. These are also available from the editor - please email your request.

Call for Anecdotes and Photographs of Buckingham

Stories and photographs from people who lived or passed through Buckingham are always wanted. If you have photos or slides of the town or your street from any time during the 20th century, please let the editor know. We will be pleased to scan you images as part of the forthcoming photographic project.
